My mother's Desierto Perdidi Skin looks dilapidated after two plus years of hard wear.
So I think we have at least on option. That is to replace that Swatch.
However, might we also think of replacing the strap? I can order one from Squiggly.com
Desierto Perdido Strap: ASFF108.
Then, can we send the new strap and the old skin to the store in Portland for replacing the strap?
My mother grew devoted to her old Skin Swatch.

Re: Replacing The Strap Question
Sun, May 7, 2006 - 8:18 PMyou could call swatch portland and see if the strap is there, I think it is. If you don't know how to change them they can do it for you. If they don't have the exact strap -- and it is that exact strap that you want -- squiggly.com is your best bet. But expect the cost to have shipping from the netherlands added to it.

Re: Replacing The Strap Question
Mon, May 8, 2006 - 9:38 PMYeah, just give us a call at Swatch Portland. 503.222.3380. We don't have that same band, but we have others that would look fine with that watch. We have the Desertic band.
Changing the strap is easy. We can walk you through the steps. Otherwise, you can certainly mail it to us. Please call in advance before sending it.
Heather.
